Under limited supervision, enters and updates data in the Predictor and Dealer Account systems. Receives, tracks and applies payments to individual contractor and dealer accounts. Answers questions and resolves problems for management and field personnel. Provides miscellaneous secretarial and administrative duties; provides customer service. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Essential Functions:
-Enters data from the field in the Predictor and Dealer Account systems.
-Receives, tracks and applies payments to individual contractor and dealer accounts.
-Receives monies in the mail and from managers, properly post the payments and applies them to the correct accounts. Contacts and collects past due accounts.
-Answers questions and resolves problems for management and field personnel. Helps management and contractors by finding, reviewing and changing single copy accounts as needed.
-Provides miscellaneous secretarial and administrative duties; provides customer service.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
-Knowledge of personal computer, photocopier, 10-key calculator and facsimile equipment is required.
-Knowledge of English language grammar and punctuation is required.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Access.
-Ability to accurately type thirty five (35) words per minute.
-Ability to accurately 10 key 100 2-digit entries per minute.
-Ability to interpret established policy and procedure is required.
-Ability to work well with other employees, callers, and visitors.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Experience: Five (5) years in accounting, administration or a related field required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Physical ability to operate under fast-paced conditions.
-Lifting up to 25 pounds, from a level of 0 inches to a level of 45 inches.
-Sitting up to 8 hours per day.
-Walking up and down stairs.
-Walking up to 1 hour per day on carpet and concrete surfaces.
-Standing up to 2 hours per day on carpet and concrete surfaces.
-Pushing/Pulling up to 25 pounds.
-Twisting, kneeling, and bending movements are required.
-Finger and wrist dexterity are required.
-Climbing stairs is required.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Position is routinely exposed to moderate noise and is exposed to bright lights and/or glare.
ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION:
This position reports to the Circulation Manager.
