Job Summary:

Faculty with expertise in psychology mental health are encouraged to apply. This position is a clinical non-tenured position. Responsibilities include teaching up to 12 credit hours per semester of undergraduate-level clinical courses in nursing, including clinical/practicum, simulation, nursing laboratory, and web-based courses, and participating in community and university service. The School of Nursing offers four different options for students to attain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.


Minimum Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing;
At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience and the ability to teach in psychology mental health specialty or a nursing specialty area;
Eligibility for Ohio Nursing License as a registered nurse;
Demonstrated experience with or a nursing specialty area;
Eligibility for Ohio Nursing License as a registered nurse;
Demonstrated experience with teaching nursing in the clinical setting; and
Ability to work evenings and weekends


Preferred Qualifications:
Record of clinical practice excellence;
National nursing certification in a relevant area;
Demonstrated commitment to nursing as a profession;
Teaching experience with simulation or in the laboratory setting;
Evidence of participation in nursing organizations; experience serving diverse students; and
The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.
