Coastal Carolina University seeks candidates for the following positions:

- Grounds Staff, 1st Shift

- Director of Veteran Services - The Office of Student Life at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a visionary leader to serve as Director of Veteran Student Services. Reporting to the Executive Director for Student Life, this position will be responsible for creating a robust menu of services and programs for our veteran and military-related students, as well as educating the campus community on issues and topics surrounding this population. 

Duties include, but are not limited to: supervising two (2) professional staff members who serve as certifying officials within the Office of Veteran Student Services; providing administrative oversight and vision for the office; advising the Student Veterans Association; serving as a certifying official and assisting staff with processing benefits; and meeting with students. 

Qualifications: a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience related to advising, working with veterans, career counseling, mentoring of students, supervision of subordinates, management and leadership experience in education are required. Honorably discharged veteran of the armed forces with management and leadership experience preferred. A successful candidate will be collaborative, thoughtful and able to lead strategic planning that will result in organizational growth and change; innovative, knowledgeable, committed, and passionate leader; strong working knowledge of Veterans Administration benefits and the other various benefits available to this population; and a demonstrated ability to develop effective, professional relationships with students. A successful candidate must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals from a broad range of programs and disciplines, have the ability to manage multiple projects at once, be detail oriented and be able to prioritize.
