Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position:
Plumber, 1st shift (Trades Specialist IV) in the Facilities Management Department.
Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining plumbing systems throughout campus; providing plumbing work for renovation projects; performing repairs as required throughout campus; promoting and using best safety practices; providing exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large; and performing other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in plumbing field required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Backflow Prevention Certificate also required. Successful candidate must have the ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications pertaining to related work and must have a working knowledge of tools, equipment and materials used in maintenance and plumbing trade.
