Regional Sales Manager, Truckload
D.M. Bowman, Inc., a regional truckload company, is expanding into the Memphis market and is looking for an established Regional Sales Manager with a minimum of two years of experience in truckload and or/LTL required.
Our company is about to celebrate its 60th anniversary. It is recognized as one of the top 250carriers in the country, consistently wins safety honors and has remained debt free.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the company strategy for growth and business development by securing profitable sales volume that meets the objectives consistent with acceptable business practices.

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of customers to include; their needs, likes and dislikes
- Build strong relationships through exceptional service
- Support safe operations and quality of service issues and keep the customer appraised of new service points and improvements in customer service.
- Continually assess our accounts to ensure we are meeting our on-time promises.
- Weekly report on customer activities and submit itineraries in order to maximize efficiency when visiting customers.
- Provide information on rates and rate changes
- Maintain a record of daily sales calls
- Responsible for growth of the targeted marker
- Help develop market planning that identifies profitable accounts and meets ROA objectives.
Communication: This position requires excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Communication will be with customers as was as the operation team to ensure the needs of the customer can be met. Requires use of computers and telephones.
Education: Requires a Bachelors degree or an associate degree accompanied with verifiable work experience.
