Project Manager, Construction Field Engineer, Project Scheduler
Seeking contract employees for Grant County PUD with the potential for direct employment and long-term contract positions. Location will be in Moses Lake, Ephrata, or Desert Aire, Washington.
POSITIONS 1 and 2: Project Manager with electrical utilities and design-build experience. Requires Microsoft Project skills and a PMP or CAPM certification is preferred. Under general supervision, this position manages small to medium projects or provides support to major projects under the guidance of a Senior or Lead Project Manager. This position coordinates with and provides support to technical and subject matter experts to facilitate the successful completion of projects from conception to delivery. This generally includes project scoping, estimating, scheduling, permitting, budgeting, communication, risk management, vendor management, all aspects of project implementation and balancing competing priorities within and among concurrent and diverse projects and programs.
POSITION 2: Construction Field Engineer for a night shift position for the Turbine Upgrade project. Must have experience with turbines, mechanical maintenance, and field engineering. Hydro experience is preferred. Serve as a liaison between engineering, craft, project operations, safety and other powerplant personnel. Provide technical support to the crews performing daily work scope. Inspect completed work against work plans, technical specifications and quality plans and provide daily inspection reports. Ensure that Project Safety Plans and other Powerplant procedures are followed.
POSITION 3: Project Scheduler with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Microsoft Project and expert level project scheduling experience. The Project Scheduler will need to be a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a background in functional, technical, and project support, with superior expertise in creating project schedules using Microsoft Project, comfortable with juggling several project plans and cross-functional activities within a project plan. The candidate will be an integral part of project management activities and will support the development and maintenance of project schedules, analysis and reporting.
