Responsibilities:
Leads project teams in executing project processes and effectively uses project portfolio management and project management tools and systems.
Conducts outreach and training as needed to improve project management practices in the organization
Assure the successful execution and completion of large-scale projects using project management standards, processes, and tools.
Leads project teams in clearly defining project goals, deliverables, risks, and critical success factors.
Leads project teams in the tracking of work breakdown structures, team member assignments, and the status of individual tasks. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to two years.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.
Ability to maintain and improve personal and team effectiveness, and foster change and creativity.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development, and evaluation.
