Restoration Technician
You will be performing emergency water mitigation and fire restoration services, as well as restoration on a variety of other property damage incidents. Previous experience with property damage and general construction are a plus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responding to water, fire, and other property damage jobs. Moving furniture and other home contents. Extracting water from flooded structures with commercial extracting equipment. Applying antimicrobial solutions to affected areas. Setting commercial drying equipment and monitoring the drying process. Removing damaged or wet building materials like carpet, pad, insulation, cabinets, drywall, baseboard, etc.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Be willing and able to work the on-call rotation to provide emergency response to customers on nights and weekends. Be willing to cross-train as a cleaning technician. Be willing and able to work in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.) and uncomfortable temperatures. Be able to learn how to use power tools and drive commercial vehicles. Be able to stand/walk for 7-8 hours a day. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. Be able to communicate with others in written and verbal form. Be able to work for long periods of time in extreme temperatures both hot and cold. Be able to work in an environment that has suffered fire, water, mold and wind damage. Be bonded (criminal back ground check required) to work in the homes and businesses.
