Summary:
The President/CEO is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board of Directors (“Board”) and other management of Goldbelt to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. The President/CEO has general management and supervision of the day-to-day business affairs, operations, and employees of the corporation and its subsidiaries.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A BA or BS degree from a reputable college or university; AND
- Minimum of five (5) years management level experience in corporate, government, or military services; AND
- Minimum of five (5) years experience working for an Alaska Native Corporation; AND
- Solid understanding of government contracting experience in the SBA, Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) 8(a) environment; AND
- Ability to successfully pass a background and credit check; AND
- Ability to obtain and maintain required top-security clearances; AND
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time to the East Coast Operations or Juneau Operations, as needed; AND
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record; AND
- Solid Knowledge of ANCSA, its history and how the law impacts the operations of Native Corporations.
