Posting Dates April 10 to May 6, 2019 To be filled by May 31, 2019 Position begins on or about October 15, 2019 The position of Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations was established for the purpose of developing and managing the fiscal affairs of the District. This position also oversees maintenance and facilities management of our two beautiful schools, and the management of transportation services. Applicants must have previous experience with budget control in an educational setting and have a working knowledge of district, county, state and federal regulations related to financial operations and facilities development. Applicants must be able to provide leadership, present information, and manage a flexible schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree MA DESE license as a Business Administrator and hold, or be eligible to obtain, Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent license
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and be attentive to detail Superior written and verbal skills
- Must understand zero-based budgeting and school finance
- Must understand and uphold the Education Reform Act of 1993
