Location: Missouri House of Representatives Information Systems Division Missouri State Capitol Building Jefferson City, MO
Starting Salary Range: Starting salary up to $5,000.00 per month commensurate with applicable education and experience.
Description: The Application Developer position is a full time position with the Information Systems Division of the Missouri House of Representatives. Duties of this position include systems analysis and design, software development, testing and application support. This full time position is located in Jefferson City, Missouri and is eligible for state employee benefits.
Responsibilities: The Applications Developer position is responsible for the development of custom applications, database maintenance, automated workflow administration, and will be the primary developer on a replacement employee management system. In addition, it will also assist other programmers within the team to gain knowledge and insight into legislative applications.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be an experienced programmer and be able to work independently, be highly organized, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be able to gather and interpret customer requirements, be customer focused and have experience in developing software applications in the Microsoft .NET environment. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft C# is required. Experience developing solutions for human resource management and interfacing with legacy HR systems a plus.
