Crime Victim Assistance Case Manager
CRIME VICTIM ASSISTANCE CASE MANAGER
HOURS: Full-time 8:30-4:30 possible evening hours
LOCATION: Northwest Buffalo Community Center
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Social Work or Criminal Justice. Valid NYS Drivers License, reliable vehicle, clean criminal background check.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist and advocate for victims of crime. Obtain and analyze weekly police reports, conduct call-outs for purpose of introduction to services and claim compensation with the NYS Office of Victim Services. Provide criminal court advocacy and community referrals.

The Northwest Buffalo Community Center is one of the largest human service providers in the greater Buffalo area. Programs offered at our facility range from complete medical and dental services, youth and senior citizen programming, education, crime victim assistance, daycare and much more. Our staff is trained to offer assistance in all areas of need, including the ability to make referrals to appropriate agencies, often to programs already on site at 155 Lawn Avenue.
The service programs of the Northwest Buffalo Community Center are governed by a volunteer board of directors made up of local citizens, business leaders and government officials who together make sure that you come first and the services you receive are handled in a competent and professional manner.
