The Department of Radiology, is seeking full time Imaging Technologists in Interventional Radiology. Successful completion of two-year or other approved program by Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology Education is required. Current certification or eligibility for certification in diagnostic procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Current Permit to Practice issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health for all radiographers operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment is required.
Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Perform and teach specialized general diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing complex imaging equipment with close patient monitoring during exam. Perform general radiography procedures in multiple areas within the hospital including Adult and Pediatric Radiology, emergency room, OR, fluoroscopy and orthopedic clinic.
1st shift work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Includes rotating holidays, weekends, and on call responsibilities
2nd shift work schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Includes rotating holidays, weekends and on call responsibilities
