Behavioral Therapists Job Duties:
Provide behavioral therapist services to clinics, hospitals, communities and resident based settings.
Develop and implement new techniques in behavioral therapy programs.
Change destructive behavior of patients through quality behavioral therapist functions.
Monitor, observe and record behavioral aspects of patients.
Treat mental illnesses like aggressive behavior, anxiety, phobias and substance abuse in patients.
Help patients in anger management and eating disorders.
Modify and change behavioral disorders and aspects in children and adolescents.
Provide strong emotional support to patients during behavioral therapy interventions.
Interact with clinicians, doctors and other behavioral therapists while treating patients with behavioral problems.
Facilitate change in lifestyle for patients with behavioral problems.
